Found in Rocky Hill, a Yokuts Sacred Place, outside of Exeter, California and indexed as part of the California Department of Parks & Recreation Historic and Archaeological Resources, this rock art beautiful demonstrates that even way back when, people felt compelled to draw mandalas.

This video talks about this site and shows more of the art found on this hill.

I’m inspired to go paint a rock. How about you?

Happy Coloring!

If you would like your mandala to be considered for the “Mandala of the Day”, read how on the Participate page. It’s easy! Or recommend one you’ve seen via my Contact page.
