1 – add pale orange swirls on yellow orb

Continuing my progress through the Yellow & Purple mandala today I used gel pens, my favorite media for adding enhancements, details, and texture. For the orb itself, I felt this swirling energy over the whole area, much like we see weather patterns on a weather map. Almost like an abstract view of planet Jupiter.
The “doodles” in the background feel like new growth, or something you would see while looking through a microscope. Overall it’s about new beginnings awaiting their transition into form.

As part of my own spiritual journey, I encourage, and hopefully inspire, others to explore their own creativity, to help them re-connect with their own inner peace and joy. As a means to that end, I make all of my mandalas available for people to color. Why should I have all the fun?
