Today’s Mandala Message: Develop Passion

This week I’m working through Principle #38 from Jack Canfield’s “The Success Principles” entitled “Fuel Your Success with Passion and Enthusiasm”. I set my intention today to ponder developing passion for my goals. Canfield shares: “Pay attention…to those times outside [of work] when you feel the happiest, the most joyous, the most fully engaged, the most acknowledged and appreciated, and the most connected with yourself and others. What were you doing at those times? What were you experiencing? Those events are indicators of ways you can bring passion into your life…It tells you what you would be happiest doing with your time.

Thankfully, doing anything related to mandalas and art are what I’m able to do and what I love to do. It took a few decades to get there and I trust that everything that led up to me doing this was necessary and part of the journey.

I have some other things that I _love_ to do that have yet to make it to the forefront (e.g. improv, community theater, intuitive storytelling). For those, I know I need to do a bit more learning and prep work before I can actively pursue them. All in due time.

A good mindfulness practice would be to tap into your passion…what do you love doing?

So what about you? Are you passionate about your goal(s)? Do you know what you are excited about doing? What is it that you love to do?

“Enjoy the journey
and try to get better every day.
And don’t lose the passion
and the love
for what you do.”
