Today’s Mandala Message: Be a Magnet

This week I’m working through Principle #38 from Jack Canfield’s “The Success Principles” entitled “Fuel Your Success with Passion and Enthusiasm”. I set my intention today to ponder being a magnet for others. Canfield states: “When you express your passion and enthusiasm, you will become a magnet to others, who will be attracted to your high level of energy. They will want to play with you, work with you, and support your dreams and goals.

When I used to do art fairs I would always be coloring my mandalas in my booth space. I would also set up a little table with some color pencils and a mandala to color so that as people came by they could color as well. I found that it attracted a bigger audience when I did. Mostly children and young adults did the coloring and with a little encouragement from me, grown-ups would join in as well. Usually when I’m coloring it gave people the opportunity to ask questions about what I was doing, how I was doing it, and so on. It also gave _me_ the opportunity to share my passion and enthusiasm about mandalas. Invariably more people became enthusiastic with them as well; so much so that they usually bought several of my mandala coloring books to color for themselves.

A good mindfulness practice would be to ponder how best can you express your passion about your goal(s).

So what about you? Do you share you enthusiasm for what you do with others? Or do you keep it to yourself? Have you noticed how when you do share your goal(s) with passion, others tend to get excited for you and your goal(s) as well?

“Every great dream
begins with a dreamer.
Always remember,
you have within you
the strength, the patience,
and the passion
to reach for the stars
to change the world.”
