Today’s Mandala Message: Bring forth Your Child Self
This week I’m working through Principle #39 from Jack Canfield’s “The Success Principles” entitled “Stay Focused on Your Core Genius”. I set my intention today to ponder what do I do now that I carried forward from my childhood.
In the StrategicCoach.com post entitled “How To Identify Your Unique Ability With These 6 Tips”, one of the ways is to know that “Your Unique Ability is “factory installed”: you’ve been doing it since childhood. To some degree, you’ve been doing things this way since you were a kid. Think back to a much younger you and how you contributed or were appreciated even then.
I know I’ve stated this in previous posts but it warrants repeating with today’s MotD: Ever since I can remember, I’ve done some form of arts and crafts. I seem to always have a knack for creating things and playing creatively. Even during my heavy duty software engineering days, I would take artsy classes at our local community college. I’m so grateful to be able to continue doing artsy things as I approach my elder years.
A good mindfulness practice would be to ponder what in your childhood do you still do the same now?
So how about you? What do you do now that you did in your childhood? What have you done in your childhood that you would love to do now as a grownup?
“Fitting in allows you

to blend in with everyone else,
but being different allows you
to be yourself, to be unique
and to be more creative.”
