23-223 Core Genius #6

Today’s Mandala Message: Acknowledge What Others Count on You For

This week I’m working through Principle #39 from Jack Canfield’s “The Success Principles” entitled “Stay Focused on Your Core Genius”. I set my intention today to ponder how I am of service to others. The essence of this week’s principle is to recognize and focus on your “core genius” (that which is your skill, gift, talent…it’s where you excel) and then delegate other tasks that can be done by others…others for whom those tasks are where they excel.

In helping with determining our core genius, over the last couple of days I’ve been tapping into the StrategicCoach.com post entitled “How To Identify Your Unique Ability With These 6 Tips”. Today I’m feeling pulled to their tip #5: “What things do other people always count on you for? Look to those as clues to identifying your Unique Ability. The ways that you positively impact people are the things they’ll consistently come to you for—it’s also how you show up as a hero in the world.

In general, it seems most people come to me for anything artsy or crafty …especially if it’s a mandala or mandala-like image. And to those who know me for my intuitive reading skills, they come to me for my readings. Having repeat customers tells me I must do it well for them to return for more.

A good mindfulness practice would be to ponder what it is that most people count on you for?

So how about you? What is it that most people ask of you? What task do people need done that makes them think to ask you to do it?

“Doing easily
what others find difficult
is talent;
doing what is impossible
with talent
is genius.”
