Today’s Mandala Message: Could You Use a Little Coaching?

This week I’m working through Principle #41 from Jack Canfield’s “The Success Principles” entitled “Build a Powerful Support Team and Delegate to Them”. I set my intention today to ponder possibly hiring a coach. From a post entitled Top 5 Reasons Why You Need to Hire a Business Coach on SchoolofStartups.com: “A business coach may serve as a guide to ensure that you are on the right track. Even tiny modifications in your path might culminate in drastically improved outcomes over time. … A business coach acts as a crucial impartial third person to check in frequently to ensure that you are on the fastest clear route to your desired outcome.” I’m sure this principle could also apply to a life coach, a personal trainer, a birthing coach, and so on.

I think I mentioned this a couple of posts ago that I’m contemplating hiring a coach, mainly to help me sort through what feels like a transition period—I’m not clear on what to focus on next. I have so many options and so many directions I can go in that I’m realizing that maybe the issue is that I need to clarify what exactly is it that I do and what I want to do. So I’m following about 4 or 5 of them via social media to get a feel for which one would serve me best—if at all.

A good mindfulness practice would be to ponder if a coach would be of benefit at this time.

So how about you? Have you ever used a coach before? Would you consider one? In what area of your life could use a coach right now?

“One of the most exciting things
about coaching is the buzz you get
when you push out of your comfort zone,
come up with a plan
and put it into action!
Life takes on a whole new meaning
as you re-create your life
or career the way you want it.”
