Today’s Mandala Message: Write Down Your Intuition’s Guidance
This week I’m working through Principle #47 from Jack Canfield’s “The Success Principles” entitled “Inquire Within”. I set my intention today to ponder noting the answers to the questions I ask of my intuition. Canfield states: “Make sure to immediately write down any impressions you receive. Intuitive impressions are often subtle and therefore “evaporate” very quickly, so make sure to capture them in writing as soon as possible. … You will be amazed at the clarity that can emerge from this process.”
He also suggests accessing intuitive information via journaling; writing your question(s) to your intuition and then writing the responses, whether they are images, words, or sensations. One approach I have used is writing my questions with my dominant hand (right hand in my case) and then letting my non-dominant hand (left) write the reply…it helps me to differentiate between my ego-self and my intuition.
A good mindfulness practice would be journaling your interactions with your intuition.
So how about you? Do you tend to forget the insights gained from your intuition? Do you ever write them down as they occur to you? Are you open to journaling your exchanges with your intuition?
