“a feeling of self-assurance arising from one’s appreciation of one’s own abilities or qualities”
I’ve learned that confidence is something that’s built over time as we allow ourselves to try new things, explore new avenues, tip our toes into the proverbial waters of the ocean (pool, river, pond, tub, etc).
And as the decades have passed for me, I have also come to learn that it almost doesn’t matter what new venture I explore, the real confidence comes from knowing that (so far), regardless of the outcome, I can handle whatever happens.
When we’re feeling less confidence, today’s MotD inspires us to review and appreciate just how far we have come. Where we are today is further along than where we were six months ago, a year ago, a decade ago. We’re being offered a possible mantra to help us: “If I am able to do this…then I am able do that”.
How about you? Is confidence a core value for you?
btw…here’s what it looked like before:

About the 2024 Mandalas of the Day
Each day I will create and post a mandala inspired by one of 366 “value” words chosen randomly. The objective being to discover for myself which ones would best represent my core values…and by doing so, I hope it inspires you to determine your own.
