“the feeling of excitement or mystery that you have from a particular experience or event”

Seeing that we’re two days away from St. Valentine’s Day, this was an intriguing random choice for today. Usually when we think of romance we associate it with an in-love relationship with another person. However, the definition I found for it gives it a whole different perspective…it’s actually more inclusive and covers a broader scope.

While drawing this out today, I sensed that this “romance” had more to do with our internal selves rather than external. That is has more to do with the excitement and mystery of our life. That seeing our lives playing out before us from this internal filter of excitement and mystery is what creates the love of our life.

Besides, who doesn’t get excited with a good mystery? We are being encouraged to view life from this “romance” perspective.
