“the ability to find quick and clever ways to overcome difficulties”
When I think of resourcefulness I think of making use of the resources you already have to create or fix or overcome something. What I like about the definition presented here is the idea of not letting difficulties stop forward progress. More than once in my life I’ve let difficulties hold me back.
But now with my life’s focus being about the pursuit of creativity, curiosity, and play, I find I can use these pursuits as a way to keep moving forward. One of my biggest drawbacks for most of my adult years is making use of the human resources available to me…in others words, asking people for help. Ever since I can remember I’ve wanted to do things by myself…like I had something to prove to myself and others…that I was, clever, capable, and smart.
Moving forward I want to ask for help more often and be more open to all the resources already available to me…both in this dimension and beyond…for the greater good of all.
How about you? Is resourcefulness a core value for you?
BTW…here’s what it looked like to begin with:

About the 2024 Mandalas of the Day
Each day I will create and post a mandala inspired by one of 366 “value” words chosen randomly. The objective being to discover for myself which ones would best represent my core values…and by doing so, I hope it inspires you to determine your own.
