I realize this one may come across as a bit pollyanna-ish and yet…look at those cute faces! I don’t know about you but each time I look at today’s MotD it puts a smile on my face. It reminds me of the saying “you can attract more bees with honey than with vinegar”.

To test this out you could try an experiment: go into an establishment with a grumpy, downer attitude and then go in another time with a positive, upbeat attitude. Do you notice a difference in how you are received, treated, and helped?

My experience with the service I receive by “being personable” has always been positive…sometimes even better than expected…and if for some reason it wasn’t, I chalk it up to the saying “you never know what a person is going through” and do my best to still be personable.
