“a great like for someone or something”
For me fondness means more of an energetic connection to someone or something…as if the connection was already there before we even physically came in contact with that person or thing. There’s a bond there that’s beyond just what we experience on this physical plane.
With fondness there’s no sense of having to have this person or thing. It’s more that I/we can appreciate it, observe it, maybe even it adore it without any need for an attachment to it. I/we can appreciate it for what it is without being in possession of it.
How about you? Is fondness a core value for you?

About the 2024 Mandalas of the Day
Each day I will create and post a mandala inspired by one of 366 “value” words chosen randomly. The objective being to discover for myself which ones would best represent my core values…and by doing so, I hope it inspires you to determine your own.
