”a process that leads to change, which occurs as a result of experience and increases the potential for improved performance and future learning”
I declared at an early age that I would continue to learn new things up until my last breath on earth. For about 10 years I lived in a predominantly retirement age community. It saddened me to see how many people who reached a certain age gave up on learning or trying new things. They commonly responded with things like: “I’m too old to learn anything new” or “I did all that when I was younger” or “leave it to the young people”. Ironically, they inspired me to never give up on learning.
Currently, I’m learning French (through duolingo and local community college classes) and I’m learning to increase my intuitive/channeling/mediumship abilities. On deck is learning how to be a better drawer…I can draw mandalas with ease…people and animals???…not so much. Also on deck is learning: storytelling, Canva, digital painting, calligraphy, gelli art, and tai chi.
To rephrase what I stated before, I never want to stop learning. Being on Earth is like being at a humongous buffet…I want to sample as much as my “plate” can hold.
How about you? Is learning a core value for you?
BTW…here’s what it looked like to begin with:

About the 2024 Mandalas of the Day
Each day I will create and post a mandala inspired by one of 366 “value” words chosen randomly. The objective being to discover for myself which ones would best represent my core values…and by doing so, I hope it inspires you to determine your own.
