24-148 Euphoria

abstract background with colors of red, green, purple, and creamy white; thick translucent lines throughout like wrinkles in fabric. On top and in white ink, a 1-inch circle, bottom center. thin lines jutting out around that circle. at the end of each line is a small circle with dotted rays spraying out in all directions.

Euphoria

“a feeling of extreme happiness”

I’ve been busy racking my brain while drawing this mandala to find any memories of when I experienced extreme happiness and the only time I experienced that sense of euphoria was when riding roller coasters. That moment going down the first drop or when the ride is doing a loop, or when I experience zero gravity for 1.5 seconds going over a hump…to me that is extreme happiness.

Why? Because in that moment I am truly in that moment and for that moment I feel like I’m free from my body…it’s more of an out-of-body experience for me. And I’m more than happy to get back in line multiple times in a row in order to have that experience again.

To be honest, though, I’m not sure that’s a feeling I would want to have all the time…I don’t think my body could handle it. But I’m happy to handle it every once in a while.

How about you? Is euphoria a core value for you?

BTW…here’s what it looked like to begin with …

joyfully,

About the 2024 Mandalas of the Day

Each day I will create and post a mandala inspired by one of 366 “value” words chosen randomly. The objective being to discover for myself which ones would best represent my core values…and by doing so, I hope it inspires you to determine your own.
