Grace

“the Divine assistance given to us to help us be kind, generous, and thoughtful towards others, even in challenging circumstances”

Of all the definitions that came up for the word grace, this is the one that resonated…at least with regards to today’s MotD. It’s during challenging circumstances, when I’ve exhausted all my human options and perspectives that I reach out and ask the Powers That Be to help me see this situation or person(s) differently. And it’s from this place, that grace appears, a different perspective comes to mind…sometimes instantly…sometimes the next day…but it does come.

It’s easy to be kind and generous when everything is sunshine and roses…it’s during the tough times where it becomes a challenge to maintain our thoughtfulness without some Divine assistance. Thankfully, it’s just a prayer and a breath away.
