Well-Being

“the state of feeling healthy and happy”

This is another of those values that should automatically be a core value. In fact, it needs to be our number one priority. Imagine how much more amazing our world would be if we all made our health and happiness top priorities.

Ultimately, it becomes our personal responsibility to maintain our own well being…in whatever way works best for each of us…with the only caveat being that our well-being-ness must not interfere with the well-being-ness of others. With our well-being-ness in tact or at least on the way, it puts us in a better place to help others who are seeking to attain their own well-being-ness.

So how do we achieve and maintain this state? It requires self-awareness…it’s up to us to determine what makes us feel happy and what makes us feel healthy? Then it’s just a matter of doing that more often rather than less often.

For instance if being with friends makes you feel happy and/or healthy…then do more of that. If going for solo walks in the park makes you feel happy and/or healthy…then do more of that. If creating mandalas makes you feel happy and/or healthy…then do more of that. (I think that last one was meant for me). Anyway…you get the idea. It’s really that simple.

How about you? Is well-being a core value for you?

BTW…here’s what it looked like to begin with …

About the 2024 Mandalas of the Day

Each day I will create and post a mandala inspired by one of 366 “value” words chosen randomly. The objective being to discover for myself which ones would best represent my core values…and by doing so, I hope it inspires you to determine your own.
