Back in 1999 when I first learned I would be creating my own mandala designs, I panicked a bit. I had the thought “what if I run out of ideas?”. That night I had a dream where thousands upon thousands of mandalas are flashing before my eyes…so fast that at one point I yelled “slow down…I don’t want to miss any of them”. I woke up realizing that I had no reason to worry…there were an infinitesimal number of mandalas just waiting in the ethers to be “born”.
I understood that at my ego, brain level, I only had access to ideas that my limited brain already had stored in its cells. “You only know what you only know”. Once I became aware of co-creating with the energy of the mandalas waiting to come into form, I fully grasped that I had access to an endless supply of ideas…way beyond the scope of my ego’s limited knowledge.
With today’s MotD we are encouraged to connect with and co-create with the energy of whatever we’re wanting to create, resolve, or understand…that’s the true source of innovation…it’s where we get to know what we don’t know.
