24-210 Transformation

24-210 7-28-24 mellow abstract background with colors of muted spring green, cream, off-white, and tiny spatters of a variety of colors. on top in black ink is a small circle filled with gold metallic ink. a large, double-lined circle surrounds the small circle. rays of gold and magenta metallic ink radiate from the small circle up to the large circle. around the large circle are 10 lotus-styled petals. each petal has a thick line of flat gold on the left side. on the right side, stripes of magenta and blank lines. at the bottom of each petal a small spiral fills the void. Outside and in between the petals is drawn an ornate “V” with spirals at the top. within the “V” are small, double-lined circles with the center circle filled with turquoise metallic ink.

Transformation

“a complete change of someone or something so that that person or thing is improved”

A big part of why we’re here on Earth is to improve upon ourselves. Staying stagnant inhibits our growth and is, quite frankly, a waste of precious time. I write this “out loud” so I can remind myself of this as well.

A simple question we can ask ourselves each morning is “how can I improve upon myself today?” or “what one thing can I do today that will help me transform for the better?” It could be that “doing nothing” is the best answer for today. Or it could be to make a daring move towards manifesting a dream of ours. I find placing my hand over my heart helps ground me in asking this question and receiving the answer.

And if for some reason we feel like we haven’t changed that much, we may want to pause for a moment and think back to how we used to be, how we used to handle certain situations. Chances are we’ll find that we have changed for the better in some ways…mainly because we’ve had experiences that have taught us to handle things differently the next time…or better yet, make it so that there isn’t a need for a next time. For me, where before I used to be a FLAMING co-dependent, now, thanks to a lot of therapy, I’ve toned it down to just like a few embers here and there…and mostly that’s is out of habit.

We are being reminded that 1) we are all Works-in-Progress…so go easy on ourselves; and 2) there’s always room for improvement…strive for progress.

How about you? Is transformation a core value for you?

BTW…here’s what it looked like to begin with …

joyfully,

About the 2024 Mandalas of the Day

Each day I will create and post a mandala inspired by one of 366 “value” words chosen randomly. The objective being to discover for myself which ones would best represent my core values…and by doing so, I hope it inspires you to determine your own.
