Warmth

“a friendly and enthusiastic quality in someone or something”

When I think of warmth I think of someone or something as inviting, welcoming, and a place of respite. Unless it’s genuinely expressed, it can come off as rehearsed, empty, and shallow.

I’m blessed to have a couple of close friends who are the epitome of warmth. I always look forward to spending time with them. It’s like a homecoming each time.

With today’s MotD, we’re encouraged to pay attention to those in our world who exude genuine warmth; and, of course, we’re encouraged to extend the same to them.

As a means to that end, I make all of my mandalas available for people to color. Why should I have all the fun?
