Driven

“unwavering need to accomplish a goal”

I find that whenever I’m “driven” about something, that it’s usually something that’s heart-inspired, maybe even soul-inspired. Either way it’s something I feel compelled to do as if it’s coming from beyond just the physical realm.

It’s how I feel about mandalas. From the first moment I learned of them in 1998, something clicked inside me and I have yet to lose my “drive” to create them in some way, shape, or form. I’m already thinking about the ones I’ll be creating next year.

The thing is when it comes to creating mandalas, I don’t ever see myself stopping…making me think that my “goal to accomplish” might just be to create as many mandalas as I can. And since it seems to be an open-ended goal, I’m free to create as many as I feel inspired to create. So I guess that qualifies me as “driven” when it comes to mandalas.
