Good-Natured

“friendly and welcoming toward other people”

It’s been my understanding that part of our being here on this planet is to make it a better place because we are/were here. So it begs the question: what is our contribution in making this world a better place?

One simply way, we could be friendly and welcoming toward other people…like offering a smile, a wave, or a “hello”. Some people will ignore it, others will welcome it and share the same back to us…thus lifting the spirits of both of us. It could make for an interesting game…how many people in a day can I get to welcome my good-naturedness?

I have to share this…The whole time I was coloring/drawing/writing this, Diana Ross’s “Reach Out and Touch” song was ear-worming in my head…and since there are no such things as coincidences…IMHO… I had to include a reference to it.

Actually, I’m feeling encouraged to include the lyrics…because they’re apropos to today’s message:
