Collaboration

“the situation of two or more people working together to create or achieve the same thing”

Whenever two or more are gathered together, united as one, the possibilities are infinite and exponential. We are being reminded that we are so much more powerful when we work together for the greater good of ALL.

It reminds me of the two different years I volunteered to help with decorating floats for the New Year’s Day Pasadena Rose Parade. What an experience…truly a collaboration. Even though I worked on small sections at a time, I know it made a difference to the overall decoration of the float. And…I learned how to apply uncooked rice onto a vertical surface…rewarding but tedious.

The amazing, heartwarming part, though, was stopping for a moment to look around the warehouse where at least four other floats were being decorated. To see all these people, mostly perfect strangers to each other, working together to create these gorgeous floats…it was a glorious sight to behold. More of that please!

As a means to that end, I make all of my mandalas available for people to color. Why should I have all the fun?
