Conversation
This week we focus on the concept of prayer. Today’s MotD reminds us that praying to our HP doesn’t require reciting specific words in a specific order or way. We are far better served when we treat it a like a conversation.
Back in the 90s Neal Donald Walsh wrote a series of “Conversations With God” books. In the first one he talks about how he was at his lowest of the lows. Out of exasperation and desperation, he pulled out a legal pad and began handwriting or rather venting a letter about how everything was so wrong in his life. As he finishes spewing out his grievances, his hand is still in a position to write when all of a sudden, the pen seems to take over and replies “Do you really want to know the answers to these questions or are you just venting?” Thus began a back and forth conversation between Neal and this other being which he understood to be God. It forever changed Neal’s life for the better.
We can do the same or come up with our own way of having a conversation with HP…it’s just as valid as any other form of prayer. It matters little to our HP—the important thing for us is to make that connection because our HP is there to help us.
How about you? Are you open to carrying on a conversation with your HP of choice?
NOTE: you’re not seeing things. The little paper does say 342 while the puzzle piece says 345. That’s because on January 21 I pulled the little paper that said 345, however I pulled out and painted puzzle piece number 342. I didn’t catch in time so I made a note to do 345 whenever I pulled out 342—which was today.
BTW…Here’s the before…the front and back view of today’s puzzle piece and the pretty ceramic box that holds all my numbers from which I randomly choose each day’s puzzle piece number:

ABOUT THE 2025 Mandalas of the Day
Throughout the year, I’ll be building one large (48”x48”) Tibetan-styled Mandala one piece at a time…one puzzle piece at a time, that is. The mandala design and the reversed puzzle side were printed on artist-quality watercolor paper. The forward facing puzzle side was printed on a 48”x48” wood panel.
Each day, at random, I’ll be painting in watercolors one of the 365 watercolor puzzle pieces, that by the end of the year will become Archangel Mandala #4. Read more about the Archangel Series. The word/message for each piece will be inspired by Melody Beattie’s book “52 Weeks of Conscious Contact”.
Ultimately, the message of this mandala is about how we are all uniquely part of the one.
