Ask For Guidance
This week we focus on “Guidance”. Today’s MotD reminds us that we’re not alone even when we are alone. Our Higher Power is always available for us to ask for guidance. Think of it like being in a restaurant. The chef and the servers cannot give us any food unless we tell them what we want to eat. Our HP and/or Team of Guides and Angels need us to ask for guidance from them so that they can help us along our journey. After all, they have a much broader perspective on our situation.
Just last night our writing class instructor struggled to find her notes for one of the student’s submittals. I told her about how being raised as a Catholic we were taught to ask Saint Anthony to help with finding lost things. She laughed and poo-poo’d this kind of stuff. So I told her that on our break I would ask that he help her find her notes during that 10 minutes. Sure enough, when we came back from break, she gleefully declared that she had found her notes. I don’t think it changed her mind about Saint Anthony, but at least for me, it re-affirmed the value in asking for guidance.
How about you? Are you willing to ask for guidance? What things do you usually seek guidance about? How does guidance usually show up for you?
BTW…Here’s the before…the front and back view of today’s puzzle piece and the pretty ceramic box that holds all my numbers from which I randomly choose each day’s puzzle piece number:

ABOUT THE 2025 Mandalas of the Day
Throughout the year, I’ll be building one large (48”x48”) Tibetan-styled Mandala one piece at a time…one puzzle piece at a time, that is. The mandala design and the reversed puzzle side were printed on artist-quality watercolor paper. The forward facing puzzle side was printed on a 48”x48” wood panel.
Each day, at random, I’ll be painting in watercolors one of the 365 watercolor puzzle pieces, that by the end of the year will become Archangel Mandala #4. Read more about the Archangel Series. The word/message for each piece will be inspired by Melody Beattie’s book “52 Weeks of Conscious Contact”.
Ultimately, the message of this mandala is about how we are all uniquely part of the one.
