Agree vs Disagree
Our focus this week — Sep 10-16: “Harmony”
Today’s MotD: Agree vs Disagree. In our efforts to create peace and harmony in our lives and our relationships, we may need to adopt the mindset of “agree to disagree”. From this space we can focus on whatever common ground we may have as a way to coexist in harmony.
For instance, my youngest brother thinks anything woo-woo (astrology, tarot readings, dowsing rods, Spirit Guides, communication with those who have past, and the like) is rubbish. I, on the other hand, am a believer in all things metaphysical.
If I inadvertently bring up something like “Mercury Retrograde”, he’ll grace me with a litany of sarcastic comments about it. Thankfully, I can usually lighten up about it and we have a good laugh together. Essentially, we’ve come to an agreement with both of us amicably agreeing to disagree with each other on this particular topic. Thus maintaining harmony in our relationship.
Our collective challenge becomes foregoing the need/want to make other people “harmonize” with US or becoming triggered with other people who need/want us to “harmonize” their way. Either way creates disharmony…and no one is at peace.
From Melody Beattie:
“Whenever we find ourselves in discord with other people, the circumstances in our lives, or even what we want, need, and feel, it may be time to stop forcing things and harmonize a little.”
How about you ? How do you handle being around people you may disagree with ? Are you able to create some harmony when you find yourself in some form of discord ? What’s you take on “agreeing to disagree” ?
BTW…Here’s the before…the front and back view of today’s puzzle piece and the pretty ceramic box that holds all my numbers from which I randomly choose each day’s puzzle piece number:

ABOUT THE 2025 Mandalas of the Day
Throughout the year, I’ll be building one large (48”x48”) Tibetan-styled Mandala one piece at a time…one puzzle piece at a time, that is. The mandala design and the reversed puzzle side were printed on artist-quality watercolor paper. The forward facing puzzle side was printed on a 48”x48” wood panel.
Each day, at random, I’ll be painting in watercolors one of the 365 watercolor puzzle pieces, that by the end of the year will become Archangel Mandala #4. Read more about the Archangel Series. The word/message for each piece will be inspired by Melody Beattie’s book “52 Weeks of Conscious Contact”.
Ultimately, the message of this mandala is about how we are all uniquely part of the one.
