We’ll Be Shown
Our focus this week — Sep 24-30: “God’s Will”
Today’s MotD: We’ll Be Shown. Per Melody she states: “Recovery programs suggest that if we surrender to God’s Will, “clean house,” and make our amends, we’ll become more aligned with God’s Will. We’ll be given the right thought, word, or action. We’ll be shown what to do next, and when.”
While using the phrase “God’s Will” triggers me (see last four posts), I do understand what Melody is getting at here. And actually, I know that when I align with a power greater than myself, especially when I do my mandala “stuff”, magic happens.
For instance, painting today’s puzzle piece, I went in knowing today’s title and I asked my higher self to connect with the energy of this piece—since everything is energy and in my mind everything we want to create already exists in energy form—so that then I can bring it into form.
So as I looked at this blank puzzle piece after connecting with its energy, I sensed and heard “soak the piece with water and drop different paint colors onto the wet paper and let the paint do its thing”. I welcomed the suggestion and proceeded to play—I love how it turned out.
As it turns out, this is an excellent metaphor for aligning with “God’s Will”. When we allow ourselves to be open (wet paper) to receiving Divine insight (paint) we’ll be shown what to do (add paint to wet paper).
How about you ? What’s your go-to way of aligning with a power greater than yourself ? When you do align with it, how does It show up for you ? What usually happens when you follow It’s suggestion(s) ?
BTW…Here’s the before…the front and back view of today’s puzzle piece and the pretty ceramic box that holds all my numbers from which I randomly choose each day’s puzzle piece number:

ABOUT THE 2025 Mandalas of the Day
Throughout the year, I’ll be building one large (48”x48”) Tibetan-styled Mandala one piece at a time…one puzzle piece at a time, that is. The mandala design and the reversed puzzle side were printed on artist-quality watercolor paper. The forward facing puzzle side was printed on a 48”x48” wood panel.
Each day, at random, I’ll be painting in watercolors one of the 365 watercolor puzzle pieces, that by the end of the year will become Archangel Mandala #4. Read more about the Archangel Series. The word/message for each piece will be inspired by Melody Beattie’s book “52 Weeks of Conscious Contact”.
Ultimately, the message of this mandala is about how we are all uniquely part of the one.
