Lesson 027: ”Above all else I want to see.”
AI Reframe: My priority is to experience clearer perception.
Suggested Practice:
Every 15-30 minutes throughout the day, say to yourself today’s idea:
Above all else I want to see
Don’t be disturbed if you miss one or more of these, simply start anew.

Today’s lesson is simple… and quietly challenging.
We’re invited to declare, at regular intervals throughout the day, that we are more than merely determined to see—we truly and deeply want to see.
From the Lesson:
“Today’s idea expresses something stronger than mere determination. It gives vision priority among your desires.
You may feel hesitant about using the idea, on the grounds that you are not sure you really mean it. This does not matter.
The purpose of today’s exercises is to bring the time when the idea will be wholly true a little nearer.” (ACIM, W-27.1:1–5)
So what is it we want to see, exactly?
We’re being asked to shift our seeing—from the perspective of the ego-mind to the perspective of Truth.
And yes… that can feel a little scary. Are we willing to see beyond our well-worn point of view?
The Lesson acknowledges this hesitation and answers it directly. We’re encouraged to add this phrase to our practice:
Vision has no cost to anyone. It can only bless.
Nothing is lost. Only clarity, kindness, and peace remain.
So—set your timers, everyone.
And… ready, set… see.
“I want to let go of my false perceptions, my own personally captioned cartoon. I want only to see the insanely beautiful truth in everything. In everyone.”
