Lesson 038: ”There is nothing my holiness cannot do.”
AI Reframe: A clear, grounded mind can shift any situation.
Suggested Practice:
Four longer periods of at least five minutes each. Repeat the idea for today (or an appropriate variation). Close your eyes. Then search your mind for any sense of loss or unhappiness of any kind as you see it…regardless of the degree of difficulty or whether the difficulty is your own or someone else’s.
For each situation, identify it specifically as well as the name of the person concerned.
In the situation involving __________ in which I see myself, there is nothing that my holiness cannot do.
In the situation involving __________ in which ____________ sees themselves, there is nothing my holiness cannot do.
Variations:
In the situation involving __________ in which I see myself, there is nothing that my true self cannot do.
In the situation involving __________ in which ____________ sees themselves, there is nothing my aligned self cannot do.
In the situation involving __________ in which I see myself, all things are possible when I rise above my fear.
For shorter versions throughout the day, repeat the idea (or variation) or apply it specifically as situations arise.

Message
The Course uses language like “Son of God,” “Creator,” and “the power of God.” In this lesson, it’s not about gender or religion—it’s about our shared source and all that becomes possible when fear stops messing with our heads.
Regardless of where we land on the spirituality/religion scale, today’s message is pretty clear: when we rise above fear—when we stop letting it control our lives, keeping us stuck, small, and hiding in some corner—when we tap into that courageous, enlightened part of ourselves…
all things become possible.
Writing that sentence made me realize just how much of my procrastination, my stuck-ness, is rooted in fear. I have amazing ideas and projects I want to create, and every time I start to move toward them, I hear that familiar little voice in the background saying, “Oh, you don’t want to do that.”
The tricky part is that I usually listen to it instead of addressing it. Intellectually, I know this voice is trying to keep me safe and comfortable. My daring to step outside its comfort zone freaks it out, so it does whatever it can to shut things down.
Today’s practice gives us a chance to notice—and gently confront—that fearful little voice. As situations come to mind where we feel unhappy, unfulfilled, or disturbed, we name them clearly. We let the fear know we see it. And then, by tapping into a power greater than fear, we say something like:
I get that you’re scared.
That’s okay.
I’ll do what I can to keep us safe—and I’m moving forward anyway.
Or put more simply…
I see you.
I hear you.
I’m going forward
anyway.
This lesson also lends itself beautifully to a new mantra:
When I rise above fear, all things are possible.
or
When I rise above fear, I am possible.
“The only reason the world ‘stays’ the way it is now is because we use our superpowers to stare at things we don’t like.”
