While technically this is a spiral, the center of Cyclone Jasmine is most definitely a circle…and it rotates in a circular motion.

Per Earth Observatory NASA’s web site:

The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Terra satellite captured this natural-color image at 9:45 a.m. local time on February 9, 2012.

Being in proximity to a storm such as this can by quite dangerous; however viewing it from space turns it into a thing of beauty.

Happy Coloring!
