129 – Snowball Mandalas

Over the last two weeks, I’ve been watching our neighbor’s snowball bush slowly come into bloom. I love the delicate softness and creamy white color of these blossoms. I like how from a distance it looks like each one is a singular poofy flower until you look up close to see that each blossom consists of lots of little blossoms forming these cute 3-dimensional orbs.

Of all the photos I took that day, some were better quality than this one…however, when I spotted the rainbow in the lower left corner, I just HAD to use this one. Nice touch, Mother Nature. 🙂

The next day I went back to I took a photo of the whole bush…simply delightful. The rainbow showed up in the lower left corner of this photo as well. How fascinating.
