Yesterday, Queen Elizabeth became the UK’s longest reigning monarch in its history…63 years and seven months. One of the many things she’s known for is her hats…she always wears them and most of them are round…mandalas; and she wears them well.
With the thousands to choose from, I opted for this photo that I found from a Vanity Fair article about her and her hats. Only a year into her reign and while on a visit to Australia in 1954, she’s photographed here wearing a beautiful, yet simple hat that Vanity Fair called a wide-brimmed “cartwheel”-style straw hat. Even her double-stranded pearls are mandala-like.
For me, I love wearing hats, however, with my small head it’s challenging to find one that fits properly. Fortunately, I managed to find two round ones that do fit me well.
Today, I’m inspired to wear one of them, allowing its mandala energy to “reign” down on me.
