This week’s MotD theme: Time After Time

I present my coloring/painting of this week’s Mandala of the Week: Time After Time (from Sunday’s MotD post). I decided to paint this as the spirit moves me and without any preconceived ideas. Halfway through, this wonderful thought popped into my head: “every time I involve myself in something new there’s always a learning curve of some sort and then over time, it becomes easier, even commonplace.”

Wow! I love it! I began thinking about every new thing I did in my life, especially recently, and noticed that there truly is a pattern. It begins with a sharp, sometimes high, learning curve and as I “learn the ropes”, it does become less and less challenging.

Inspiration for Today

Two ways to look at this one:

  1. If we are doing something new and we find ourselves thinking we may be in over our heads, and may even quick, just remember how we were able to overcome other challenges, to keep at it and know that we will (sooner or later) manage this one too.
  2. If we are putting off something that we want to do but fear it for whatever real or imagined reason, here too, remember our pattern: a spike in the learning curve, and then, over time, the curve mellows out. Easy peasy! Now get to i! 🙂

I’m happy to post my colorings however I would really love to share and showcase your colorings here as well. Feel free to send them to me. Or you can post them on my Mandala of the Day Facebook page.

Happy Coloring!

If you would want your mandala or your idea for a mandala to be considered for the “Mandala of the Day”, read about how on the Participate page. It’s easy! Or recommend one you’ve seen via my Contact page.
