This week’s MotD theme: Dessert

From a delightful bakery in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Delinés, we present their amazing handmade mandala cookies, each hand decorated in beautiful mandala designs and colors.

Fascinating info from KitchenProject.com:

A little cookie history: The first cookies were created by accident. Cooks used a small amount of cake batter to test their oven temperature before baking a large cake. These little test cakes were called “koekje”, meaning “little cake” in Dutch.

View more of their wide assortment of delectable goodies in their photo album on facebook.

Inspiration for Today

Taking it more on a metaphysical level today, we all vibrate at a certain frequency depending on our state of mind or consciousness. When we operate from a place of peace, joy, love, and the like, we vibrate at a higher frequency. When we operate from a place of anger, hatred, resentment and the like, we vibrate at a lower frequency. In either case, that frequency ripples outward, attracting more of the same towards us.

Using these joyous cookies as an example, we can be a good, yet ordinary sugar cookie, vibrating at a nice, comfortable frequency or we can decide to be an extraordinary mandala cookie, vibrating joy throughout the land. Which would you pick?

Happy Coloring!
