This week’s MotD theme: The Color Purple
Kristin and Diego, of KolumbianArte, an artisan couple from Germany and Colombia, fabricate jewelry and other products with material found or swapped in Colombia. This lovely necklace is handmade in macrame with dark blue and purple waxed thread and an Amethyst gemstone.
I love the earthiness of this necklace and the interesting lines of the stone. Check out more of their beautiful pieces in their etsy shop.
From CrystalVaults.com:
Amethyst is a wonderful talisman for use in the creative arts, especially in darker shades. It assists endeavors where new, original results need to be created using tools and methods of the past. It is often used as the Artist’s Stone, the Composer’s Stone, the Inventor’s, Poet’s and Painter’s Stones. Keep an Amethyst crystal or cluster in the area to focus and amplify the creative elements of the Universal Life Force.
Inspiration for Today
It’s okay to ask for assistance, to use tools and guides. Contrary to what we’re told or what we believe, rather than a sign of weakness, asking for help is a sign of strength.
Happy Coloring!
