This week’s MotD Theme: Glass
Arabella Marshall, a British architectural and environmental glass artist created this amazing glass piece entitled: Infusion. “Her work comes from the deep inspiration she finds in the everyday relationship with her surroundings as well as that which starts to form between the developing piece and the person or place for which it is intended.” – Arts Park International UK
This close-up view gives us a better idea of all the components and colors included this this fascinating piece. Delightful!

About this piece Arabella states via the Arts Park International web site:
There is a definite sense, when you look at the piece, of millions of tiny particles radiating from the hole within it, forming the appearance of rays emanating from a sun or it could be sperm swimming towards an ovum. One can intentionally see it either way – the opening in the middle pouring out or sucking in. I would unabashedly say the piece is about fertility – about being infused and infusing.

Inspiration For Today
Arabella’s beautiful glass sculpture shows us how even though she constructed it with delicate materials, it comes together as a very powerful and solid piece.
It reminds us that we too, while made of delicate things like skin and bones, can be quite powerful beings. So when in doubt or fear, we are encouraged to go inward to enter into the portal of our deep well of inner strength to help guide us through.
Happy Coloring!
