This week’s MotD theme: Orange You Glad

Flower mandala artist, Lemoel Senillo, created this beautiful layout of exquisite and exotic orange and white flower petals to represent the second chakra, the orange chakra. He teaches mandala flower arranging at Terra Manna Beach Resort and Camping in Badian, Cebu, Philippines.

From Jean Rosales, MD, of Heart of Mandala blog site, she loves to capture the beauty of mandalas, including Lemoel’s flower mandalas. She posted today’s mandala photograph and states:

I love to capture the beauty of every moment. It’s a blessing. It may or may not happen again, and if it does, maybe in a different way. In coincidence, or in any simple ways. It is still a time and space worth nourishing.

Inspiration for Today

From The Chopra Center website as written and posted by Michelle Fondin, it states:

The second chakra, Svadhisthana, is also known as the creativity and sexual chakra. … The word svadhisthana can be translated as “the dwelling place of the self,” and the element of the second chakra is water, which equals cohesiveness. A balanced second chakra leads to feelings of wellness, abundance, pleasure, and joy.

Michelle further states to awaken our creativity we can play like a child.

A child will spend several hours building a Lego tower, a sandcastle, or an exquisite dollhouse. Then, the same child will smash their masterpiece in an instant and start over from scratch as if it was no big deal.

We are being given permission to play; it does our second chakra and Creative Spirit good to do so.

Happy Coloring!
