This week’s MotD theme: Rose Windows
I present my coloring/painting of this week’s Mandala of the Week: Rose Windows (from Sunday’s MotD post). For this mandala I wanted to give it a stained glass window effect, going from the darker colors at the center to lighter, brighter colors to the outside with a dark background to help make the outer colors pop.
I used watercolors for this painting.
Inspiration for Today
Today’s mandala inspires us to create a sacred space within our home; the size of the space matters little. It’s more about setting an intention for a designated area where it can easily remind us of our own divinity and our connection to Source, God, The Universe, Allah, or the God of your choosing. A space where we can Breathe and just Be…even if it’s just for a moment.
In an instant I am reminded of Who I Am.
