This week’s MotD theme: Under a Microscope
Microphotographer, Rogelio G. Moreno captured this cosmic-looking image of volvox carteri, a species of colonial green algae in the order Volvocales. While I could do all sorts of science-y stuff about this, I forego it to focus on just how cool this looks…and look at all this mandala-like structures!

Inspiration for Today
Today’s MotD gives us a great visual to represent all the ideas we come up with in our lifetime. Some lay dormant for quite some time, and maybe even permanently, while others grow and expand, eventually leaving the “nest” to become its own single entity giving birth to a whole new set of ideas and so on.
An intriguing exercise may include noting all of our ideas in some physical way, allowing us to actually see the full range of them in one place rather than them bouncing around in our heads endlessly lost in all of the mind’s chitter chatter.
From there we can map them and organize them in such a way that allows us to move forward on some of them and put a hold on others. We may also recognize a pattern which when grouped together gives us a more efficient way to manifest a whole new concept we had yet to recognize.
Happy Coloring!
If you would want your mandala or your idea for a mandala to be considered for the “Mandala of the Day”, read about how on the Participate page. It’s easy! Or recommend one you’ve seen via my Contact page.
