This week’s MotD theme: Tis the Season for Ornaments
From Jessica Fediw, of Happy Together, comes this delightful DIY egg ornament which was actually created by Jessica’s grandmother many years ago. Jess’s tutorial offers a step-by-step process that looks like fun and easy to do. While some of these have a winter theme, she also makes them for spring. I’m going to start saving my egg shells to try a few of these myself.
About herself and her blog site she states:
I started this blog to be my creative outlet. I want to share what I am doing with hopes of inspiring others. My goal is to eventually make things to sell on a regular basis and design patterns to sell. … I am really glad to have joined the crafting blog community and look forward to continuing in it. Have a blessed day!

Inspiration for Today
Jess’s egg ornaments inspire us to be creative in delightful ways using something we normally toss out or compost. With all the examples she offers on her ornament tutorial, she also sparks our imagination with wonderful ornament ideas.
If you would want your mandala or your idea for a mandala to be considered for the “Mandala of the Day”, read about how on the Participate page. It’s easy! Or recommend one you’ve seen via my Contact page.
