This week’s MotD theme: Tis the Season for Wreaths
Christina of The Frugal Homemaker handcrafted this beautiful wreath made from vintage music pages from an old hymnal she found in a thrift store. As part of her blog post, she offers well-documented how-to instructions on how to make this for ourselves.
About herself she states:
I grew up in a very frugal home and am a homemaker at heart. I love thrifting, shopping at yard sales, crafting, spray painting and working on Do-it-Yourself projects to decorate our home. You could say I have “Pottery Barn style on a yard sale budget.”
Check out all of her DIY projects via her blog site.
Inspiration for Today
We often believe that if we have more money it will make it easier to do and make things. Coming from a frugal perspective however allows us to be more creative and tap into our imaginative mind for ways to do and make things which end up being more rewarding and expansive for us in the long run.
Happy Coloring!
If you would want your mandala or your idea for a mandala to be considered for the “Mandala of the Day”, read about how on the Participate page. It’s easy! Or recommend one you’ve seen via my Contact page.
