This Week’s Theme: Earrings
These fun earrings come to us from jewelry and origami artisan Sarah Goodell of STC Handmade. I love how she combined two different modalities into one unique style. I also appreciate the well-balanced combination of angular and curved lines in her earrings.
About the earrings:
These bold earrings are folded from 32 tiny squares of shiny black and silver paper. The silver is slightly iridescent. Each earrings is wire wrapped and coated in multiple layers of sealer, making them shiny, durable and water resistant.
… The earrings measure 1.5″ across, and 1.75″ from the bottom of the ear wire.
About Sarah:
I love to create jewelry, and earrings are my favorite. When I’m not folding paper or wire wrapping, you’ll find me spending time with my three little girls and husband. I also love to sing, read books, play some video games, and spend time outside here in Vermont.
