My Journey Mandala
For this week’s Mandala of the Week, I decided to do my Doodle Mandala Process for three reasons:
- focus my intention on the idea of “My Journey”
- to encourage coloring from an intuitive perspective
- to inspire you to do it for yourself (for details visit Mandala of the Week #29)
So for me, as I began coloring, I kept hearing the word “convoluted” bouncing around in my head. Looking up its definition via google, it means: (especially of an argument, story, or sentence) extremely complex and difficult to follow. I think this mandala is trying to tell me I tend to make things very complicated. 🙂
I contemplated the idea of “My Journey” wondering if the mandala represented by past lives, different aspects of my personality or psyche, or different stages of my current life. After coloring for a while, I heard that it represents all my (convoluted) stories for this current life.
Some of my intuitive color choices bothered me, they seemed a bit dark or muted. I quickly learned to let go of any angst about it and trust that it will all come together in the end. I’m intrigued by this mandala and look forward to its progress throughout the week.

About the Mandalas of the Day:
I post a variety of in-progress art for that day which can include mandalas from the Mandala of the Week, the Mandala of the Month, the Mandala of the Year, or the Mandala Meditation Stones.
Happy Coloring!
