Today I started on the eleventh sign of the Astrological Wheel: Aquarius – The Water Bearer.

In 2012 I created a hyperbolic tessellation mandala for each of the zodiac signs. For Aquarius, its symbol is represented as water or electricity.
As I started to color this one, I saw it more as a black and white design with shades of gray and touches of red, giving it a more eclectic and dramatic feel to it.
