“So all life is a great chain,— Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
the nature of which is known
whenever we are shown a link of it.”
“Faith is our direct link to— Dan Millman
universal wisdom, reminding us
that we know more than we have
heard or read or studied
that we have only to
look, listen, and trust
the love and wisdom
of the Universal Spirit
working through us all.”
“In the universe there is— Carlos Castaneda
an immeasurable, indescribable force
which shamens call intent,
and absolutely everything
that exists in the entire cosmos
is attached to intent by a connecting link.”
Today’s MotD reminds us how everything and everyone here and beyond are linked together in one way, shape, or form, in one continuous thread of existence.
When crocheting, it usually starts with stitches forming threaded links of a chain (called a chain stitch). They tend to establish the shape and direction of the piece. If it’s a rectangular piece, the chain stitches can establish its length or width. If it’s a round piece, they establish the inner circle.
With just one long piece of thread, a crochet hook, and a bunch of different looping stitches linked together, the possibilities of what we can create is infinite.
Each of us is a link in the cosmic crochet project of life.
