“Dream and give yourself permission— Joy Page
to envision a You that you choose to be.”
“Without leaps of imagination,— Gloria Steinem
we lose the excitement of possibilities.
Dreaming, after all,
is a form of planning.”
“Keep away from people— Mark Twain
who try to belittle your ambitions.
Small people always do that,
but the really great
make you feel that you, too,
can become great.”
Today’s MotD encourages us to dream our dreams; to give ourselves permission to daydream and let our imaginations run free, free of judgment and restraint. From within this dream state we tap into the collective creative consciousness where ideas are born and released.
As we come out of these states, remember which dreams resonated with us the most in an uplifting way, those are the dreams we pursue. And on a daily basis we can ask ourselves: what’s one thing I can do today to bring my dream(s) closer to reality? Then do that.
Along the way, we may find our dreams changing…and that’s okay. Sometimes they do that. As we learn and grow and have life experiences, our dreams adapt and morph as needed. The mere act of pursuing are dreams, leads us in a direction that best suits us and allows for offshoots and modifications. Go the way it resonates the most.
