Believe
“The future belongs to
— Eleanor Roosevelt
those who believe
in the beauty
of their dreams.”
“Believe in yourself,
— Chantal Sutherland
take on your challenges,
dig deep within yourself
to conquer fears.
Never let anyone bring you down.
You got to keep going.”
“Don’t limit yourself.
— Mary Kay Ash
Many people limit themselves
to what they think they can do.
You can go as far as your mind lets you.
What you believe, remember,
you can achieve.”
Today’s MotD encourages us to believe in ourselves and whatever it is that we truly feel inspired to be and achieve. From Lyn Christian of SoulSalt.com she says “Believing in yourself means having faith in your own capabilities. It means believing that you CAN do something — that it is within your ability. When you believe in yourself, you can overcome self-doubt and have the confidence to take action and get things done.”
Our challenge becomes overcoming whatever obstacles (fears, limiting beliefs, peer pressure, etc) that keep us from believing in ourselves. One of the surest ways is to put ourselves out there, a little bit at a time if necessary, with the intention of testing the waters knowing that the results may be different from what we expected. That’s ok. What did we learn, what did we gain, what’s the next step? With each step forward we take we build up that much more confidence, giving us the added boost to try again, going a little bit (or a lot) further than before.

“The level of success

you see in your life
is a direct result
of your belief system.”
