23-082 Take Action #5

Today’s Mandala Message: To fail is to learn…embrace it wholeheartedly.

Continuing with Principle #13 from Jack Canfield’s “The Success Principles” entitled “Take Action, I set my intention today to ponder being afraid to fail. Canfield states: “Many people fail to take action because they’re afraid to fail. Successful people, on the other hand, realize that failure is an important part of the learning process.”

The best way I manage “failure” is knowing that next time I’ll try it differently or I’ll realize that the “failure” leads me in a better direction; especially when coloring or painting. Often times I’ll leave a “mis-take” as is or add to it, making it “seem” as an intended part of the design…it usually turns out better than expected.

With today’s mandala coloring, I played with new-to-me tools just to see how they would look. Because I took this care-free, playful approach, the end result came out as a surprise and kinda cool (IMHO). 😁

So how about you? Do you have a fear of failure? How have you handled failure in the past? Did the failure turn into a valuable learning experience?

“Every adversity,
every failure,
every heartache
carries with it
the seed of an equal
or greater benefit.”
