Today’s Mandala Message: What Type of Coach Do You Need?
This week I’m working through Principles #44 and #45 from Jack Canfield’s “The Success Principles” entitled “Find a Wing to Climb Under” and “Hire a Personal Coach” respectively. I set my intention today to ponder what type of coach I need right now. And yes, there are multiple types of coaches … who knew? According to PaperBell.com in their article entitled “8 Types of Life Coaching” there are 8 (in their article they go into more detail about each type):
- Relationship Coaching
- Financial Coaching
- Business Coaching
- Personal Development Coaching
- Health and Wellness
- Recovery Coaching
- Career Coaching
- Transitional Coaching
Based on what I posted on Monday (23-247), I’m leaning towards a combination of business and transitional with a dash of personal development. I want to change up and branch out my business, up my presence to a broader audience while also figuring out the what, how, and why of it all…while clearing any personal issues blocking my way.
A good mindfulness practice would be to observe where in your life you could use some coaching.
So how about you? Based on the aforementioned list, what type(s) of coaching would you want? Are you open to the idea of hiring a coach? Is there someone in your life who could be like a coach for you?
“A coach is someone
— Tom Landry
who tells you what
you don’t want to hear,
who has you see what
you don’t want to see,
so you can be who
you have always known
you could be.”
Blessings,
