Enchanted
“utterly delighted or captivated”
It behooves us to strive to be utterly delighted every day…or at the very least…for moments throughout our day. I find I’m mostly enchanted when I’m out in nature, rainbows, snowfall, autumn colors, flowers blooming, and so on. I’m also enchanted by our newly adopted rescue greyhound Faé.
So, earlier this morning, before I even knew what the value word was going to be for today, I saw this video and knew immediately that this was going to tie in perfectly with today’s MotD. And lo and behold…this video epitomizes “enchanted”.
I’m also captivated watching people do or talk about what they love to do, the things that delight them, their adventures, the projects they are developing. I’m delighted when I see people doing good deeds for other people as well as rescuing animals who are in trouble.
The most memorable good deed I saw via video was watching a group of about 17 complete strangers working together to save a motorcyclist trapped under a burning car. Collectively they managed to lift the car and drag him out to safety. It’s deeds like this that give me hope for the survival of humanity.
